Terms of Service
Last updated: August 24, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Kamui One website and platform operated by Kamui One ("Kamui", "we", "us", or "our"). By using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Kamui One provides software for field operations, asset tracking, attendance verification, event coordination, people management, financial workflows, and related insights. Features may change as we improve the service.
2. Accounts and authority
You must provide accurate information and keep account credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and for ensuring that users in your organisation have appropriate permissions. You must have authority to provide data to Kamui and to agree to these Terms on behalf of your organisation.
3. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, upload malicious code, violate applicable law, or use the service to infringe another person's rights. Location, attendance, and fraud signals should be used responsibly and alongside appropriate human review.
4. Customer data
You retain rights in data submitted to the service. You grant Kamui the limited rights needed to host, process, secure, and provide the service. You are responsible for obtaining required notices, permissions, and consents for personal, location, image, device, and operational data collected through your workflows.
5. Intellectual property
Kamui and its licensors retain all rights in the service, software, branding, documentation, and related materials. These Terms do not transfer ownership. We may use aggregated and de-identified information to operate, secure, and improve the service.
6. Third-party services
The service may integrate with third-party providers. Their services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies, and Kamui is not responsible for third-party products outside its reasonable control.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided on an as-available basis. Kamui does not guarantee that every signal, location, image, AI output, or alert will be complete, accurate, or uninterrupted. Kamui One is an operational aid, not a substitute for professional, legal, financial, employment, or safety advice.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kamui will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages. Any specific liability limits, payment terms, service levels, and remedies should be defined in the applicable customer agreement.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach, security risk, non-payment, or legal requirement. On termination, handling and deletion of customer data will follow the applicable agreement and our documented retention practices.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. For questions, contact legal@kamui.one.
